Ahmedabad: South Africa posted a commanding 213/4 in 20 overs against Canada in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, showcasing a dominant batting display at Narendra Modi Stadium in the South Africa vs Canada clash.

Quinton de Kock provided a quick start before falling for 25, while Aiden Markram led the charge with 59 off 32 balls, hitting 10 fours and a six. Ryan Rickelton added 33, and David Miller (39) and Tristan Stubbs (34) finished unbeaten to boost the total. Extras, including 10 wides and three no-balls, contributed 17 runs.

For Canada, Ansh Patel took 3 wickets for 31 runs, while Dilpreet Bajwa claimed 1. Other bowlers struggled to contain the South African hitters, with Kaleem Sana, Dilon Heyliger, and Jaskaran Singh going wicketless.
